De f\u00f8rste pionerer begyndte at kortl\u00e6gge Danmark i 1600-tallet. Dette var et farligt og vanskeligt arbejde, b\u00e5de fordi der ikke fantes avanceret udstyr til opm\u00e5lingen og dels fordi Danmark p\u00e5 det tidspunkt ikke havde den infrastruktur som vi i dag er vant til. Tv\u00e6rtimod s\u00e5 var landskabet sv\u00e6rt fremkommeligt grundet vildtvoksende krat, moser og skove. Derudover var Danmark ogs\u00e5 hjemsted for ulve og vildsvineorner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Blandt de f\u00f8rerende inden for dansk landp\u00e5m\u00e5ling regnes Ole R\u00f8mer og Jens S\u00f8rensen. De konstruerede s\u00e5kaldte \u201dm\u00e5levogne\u201d, en art trilleb\u00f8r med indbygget kilometert\u00e6ller til opm\u00e5ling af basislinjen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Det var dog f\u00f8rst i 1750-1880 at bl.a. Videnskabernes Selskab, foretager en virkelig rationel opm\u00e5ling af Danmark, hvor basislinjer blev langt ud i form af metaltr\u00e5de med veldefineret l\u00e6ngde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Thomas Bugge (1740 &#8211; 1815) blev i 1762 ansat som selskabets f\u00f8rste geografiske landopm\u00e5ler. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-heading\">Triangulering<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Opm\u00e5ling foregik ved at man lagde et trekantsnet ud over landet. Ved hj\u00e6lp af dette trekantsnet blev det muligt, at placere m\u00e5lepunkter og afstande korrekt i landskabet og overf\u00f8re dette til et kort, p\u00e5 den tid i st\u00f8rrelsesforhold 1:20.000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Thomas Bugge begyndte opm\u00e5lingen i 1764 ved at udstikke en basislinje fra Br\u00f8ndbye H\u00f8i <a href=\"#footnote-1-1463\" id=\"note-1-1463\" rel=\"footnote\">1<\/a> til Tingh\u00f8j <a href=\"#footnote-2-1463\" id=\"note-2-1463\" rel=\"footnote\">2<\/a>. Der er fem basislinjer n\u00f8je fordelt <a href=\"#footnote-6-1463\" id=\"note-6-1463\" rel=\"footnote\">6<\/a> gennem landet med en l\u00e6ngde p\u00e5 25 til 40 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Til opm\u00e5ling af disse l\u00e6ngder bruges ogs\u00e5 triangulering med en kendt basism\u00e5ling som er noget mindre, ofte 2 til 6 km, beliggende p\u00e5 et lige vejstykke og flere hj\u00e6lpepunkter. Basism\u00e5lingen er her indtegnet med r\u00f8d og g\u00e5r fra Gr\u00e6nge (<strong>B<\/strong>) til det ukendte punkt i Saksk\u00f8bing (<strong>A<\/strong>) og har en l\u00e6ngde p\u00e5 6,5 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">De to hj\u00e6lpepunkter er en nordlig station Alstrup p\u00e5 Falster (<strong>C<\/strong>) og sydlig station Gr\u00f8nnegade (<strong>D<\/strong>) p\u00e5 Lolland.
